Q. Does Roadspike have any effect on self sealing tires?

    A. The RoadSpike works very well against self sealing tires.   The hollow spikes penetrate the sealing membrane that would normally seal the tire.   Since the spike is hollow the sealing membrane seals the outside of the spike while the hollow interior of the spike allows air to escape the tire.
