A. From the time of opening the trunk to having the RoadSpike ready to spike the oncoming target is under 13 seconds. The officer simply takes the unit out of the trunk and places the bag with the arrows facing the road. Unzip the bag and roll the unit out on the road. The officer then straightens the control cable to take him/her out of harms way, yet monitoring traffic flow.
